Hamburger Soup

Ingredients
5 cups Water
1 onion
1 pound Hamburger
1 can vegetable soup
1 cup flour
1 egg
salt and pepper to taste


Instructions
Put five cups of water in a kettle, add one onion out fine, salt and pepper to taste.
make hamburger (about a pound) into small balls (one inch) drop into boiling water.
Turn down to medium, add 1 can of vegetable soup and one can of water (rinse can).
Now, mix together in a different bowl, 1 cup flour and one egg with just enough water
to make pasty so you can drop by spoonfuls into soup mixture.
Dumplings will come to top. you might check one to see if they are done.
I just cook it a short time after they come to the top.
WARNING!!! From a person who has done this before...let it cool before eating!
